BBQ CHARCOAL

Hi-Heat BBQ Charcoal is made directly from renewable natural timber. The logs are lit and the wood smolders for a few days. The oxygen-starved fire burns off water, sap and other impurities in the wood. What is left is almost pure carbon, also known as charcoal. This allows Hi-Heat BBQ Charcoal to light easy and burn at a higher temperature than other charcoals.

Lighting Instructions

Place 3 or 4 firelighters amongst the base of the barbeque. Arrange Hi-Heat BBQ Charcoal over the firelighters. Light the firelighters in several places with matches or a gas lighter and wait for Hi-Heat BBQ Charcoal to turn ash grey or fire red. Leave vents open. If direct cooking method is used, spread Hi-Heat BBQ Charcoal with tongs.
